Environmental Update::April Edition

Last week on April-12th-2018 the country of New Zealand announced the banning of new off-shore oil and gas drilling citing climate change and their goal to become a net zero emissions economy by 2050. New Zealand banning new off-shore drilling is a important milestone in protecting our environment so future generations who will call Earth home do not have to inherit a planet changed by the serious effects of climate change which is our responsibility to save our world from a uncertain future that we can prevent by coming together as humans and taking on our responsibility of protecting the earth's environment because our world is the only place in the universe we know that can support life making Earth a truly unique place that we need to take care of no matter what. The milestone New Zealand is an example to the world showing that the nations of the world need to take steps of their own or unite together to combat Climate Change by eliminating carbon emissions and ending our reliance on fossil fuels by switching to renewable energy sources that are better for the health of our planet which is important to protecting the environment for present and future generations so they can full in the love with the beauty of Earth's environment so we can continue humanity's responsibility of protecting and caring for our planet for generations to come.
