The Green New Deal: Saving the Planet

On February 7th 2019 Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of New York and Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts introduced the Green New Deal a grand Plan to combat Climate Change in the House and Senate of the US Government this plan has policies and ideas that will be the most sweeping and historic in the fight for saving our planet from the effects of Climate Change which can be reversed if we take the action but we have only 12 years to take action before it's too late to reverse Climate Change. The Green New Deal needs to happen in order to save our planet because the plan would achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by creating millions of new high paying green jobs and investing in new clean energy infrastructure across America that will grow the economy white saving the planet at the same time this element of the Green New Deal is very important due to the fact that the UN said we have 12 years to combat Climate Change before it's irersvable and the only way to prevent this we need to dramatically transform our energy system away from fossil fuels to a system that uses renewable energy which is more efficient and cleaner for our energy needs and the planet. The Green New Deal has received support from democrats in the house and senate plus 2020 Democratic Presidential candidates have given support to this grand plan including Kamla Harris and Cory Booker senators running for president white this plan was meet with great support by Democrats but sadly the republicans in the House and Senate did not give support to this plan instead they attacked it with anti-climate change statements and doubt about the sustainability of the Green New Deal republicans doing this are ridiculous because Climate Change is not a Partisan issue it's a Bipartisan issue that needs to addressed before it's too late meaning the future of the planet is literally in the hands of governments around the world including America this is how serious of a issue Climate Change is so lawmakers need to come together for the seek of our planet and do everything possible to help the Environment instead of going after a grand plan from the democratic party that understands what Americans want including resolving Climate Change and by coming together without being partisan America will be able to achieve a Green New Deal and fight to get it signed into law due to the fact that the current sitting President of America Donald Trump does not believe Climate Change is real and has no understanding of it's effects which he denied even after the UN and US Government released reports with dire info about Climate Change last year it's time we come together so we bring the Green New Deal into reality and stand up to leaders and lawmakers who do not believe in Climate Change. While lawmakers and leaders are a important part to making the Green New Deal a reality it's also up to us the people of America and the World to fight for the future of our planet because we need to do our part so we can achieve the Green New Deal like voting for lawmakers plus leaders who believe in Climate Change and also assembling Climate Change sit-in's and marches to get the attention of the people in governments around the world so they see our generation wants action for the Climate Change and will keep doing peaceful protests until we get the action we want for the serious world issue of Climate Change and also all generations need to come together to fight for Climate Change action because it's important for the future of our planet if everyone no matter their age did their part to help the environment and create governments that will take Climate Change seriously which is essential to fighting this serious world issue by making governments that care about the environment with our votes we will be able to save the world for future generations and it's time to come together on the issue of Climate Change because our planet is counting on it and I truly believe we can take action to combat Climate Change by coming together we can achieve the Green New Deal and save the world. The Green New Deal continued to be supported long after the first attempt failed to become law which ultimately did not become law but lawmakers including AOC and Joe Biden who is President now who never gave up on the fight to protect the environment and save our planet for future generations which ultimately in the Biden Administration with the help of the democrat controlled senate and congress led to historic funding to combat Climate Change plus it provides significant help transition to clean energy and transportation but the journey to the Green New Deal has only just begun because we the people have the power to achieve a future with the Green New Deal by demanding action and most importantly voting for pro-environment lawmakers who care about the future of our amazing Planet!!!
